Barndoor new issue
I have a 2009 clubman. The left rear barn door will not open. After following the directions provided I was able to manually open the door. Using an ohmmeter I checked the handle switch it appears to be functioning. I purchased a new latch and connected it up and it did not work. At this point I applied power to my old latch to see what would happen and it opened. So my question is according to the Bentley book if I’m reading it correctly the wires that carry the signal to operate the latch comes from what looks to be the fuse panel. The kick panel passenger (right side). Has anyone else experienced this issue I was expecting some type of control module. I’d like to check the wire for opens. I don’t want to start throwing parts at it. Also is there a reader for mini to check circuits and such other than the dealer? Thanks

Actuate the rear wipers and see if only one turns on. If this is the case, you may need to re-code the Fuse box. Also called the SPEG unit.

So I tried and one side is not working on the wipers. So I’m going to research recode fuse box now...thanks
