R55 2008 Mini clubman change after sept 30 2008
#2
This is a great idea to track changes. I only know of a few:
N14 HPFP part# 13517588879 Continental. I think there were multiple revs of this part. It changed at least for the N18 below.
Some Clubman were prone to leaks in to spare tire well. Was there a change to address this?
2011 was the Life Cycle Impulse (face lift) with lots of changes, N18 one.
There must have been an A/C line fix because mine made knocking noise at the compressor and there was a technical bulletin to bolt on a weight the size of just the fingers of a fist, which fixed the problem.
The addition of the turbo line heat shield. It was not listed for my Sept '10 production date Clubman, but I asked service and they installed it.
N18 HPFP part# 13517592429 Continental used Jun-10 to Mar-12. Different part number than previous one.
April (or May) 2012 was the Bosch HPFP, much more reliable. There is a corresponding change in the head, wiring to the pump, software and possibly new ECU
mid/late 2012 Water pump change to metal
The hose from thermostat to radiator has a sensor on it with an o-ring that can leak. The fix is to replace the hose with one that has no sensor, move the sensor to the thermostat that needs replacing, and a short wire harness to accommodate the move. Don't know when this cut in.
Anyone else have information?
