I would skip the mods on your list, they are worth the money, in my opinion. What are you looking to improve? Handling? Performance? Style?

I have similar mods on my Clubman, and here is my short list:
Milltek or Magnaflow exhaust?
Rear sway bar?
Coilovers?
???

Mods to Improve Driving Fun?

After improving reliabilty, my primary objective for mods is to improve driving fun. My Clubman is my daily driver, and I use it for autocrossing and an occasional track day, so I can justify almost anything.....at least without considering the cost. Some mods that I've enjoyed include a short shift kit (I run CravenSpeed), shift **** (have Doug Whalen and CravenSpeed), and an improved diverter valve (GFB DV+ here - will not add HP, but maintains boost when off and back on the throttle).

Some of my other mods include:

FMIC - Alta
CAI - JCW Kit Intake (my '09 JCW didn't come with it)
Turbo Hot Side Muffler Delete
Noise Maker Delete – N18 Pipe
Lower Engine Mount – Powerflex
Dual Oil Catch Cans – BSH
Turbo Inlet Tube – Alta
Clutch Interlock Delete – Code My Car
Clutch Stop – BSH
Accelerator Pedal Back Pressure Enhancement – Fabricated
Hood Scoop Air Diverter – Sneed4Speed
Turbocharger Blanket – WMW
Turbocharger Heat Shield – NM Engineering
Front lower control arm bushings – Powerflex
Front Sway Bar bushings – Powerflex
Front Understrut X brace – TSW/WMW
Brake Cooling Ducts – Fabricated/Sneed4Speed
Shocks – Bilstein
Springs – NM Engineering
Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms - Hotchkiss
25.5MM Rear Sway Bar – Hotchkiss
Front Strut Brace – CravenSpeed
Fixed Camber Plates – Ireland Engineering

The clutch interlock delete is my description for eliminating the requirement to push the clutch to the floor to start the car. I don't mind having to do that, but I didn't like the extremely long clutch throw. Eliminating the interlock enabled me to put in a the clutch stop with many more spacers than I could have otherwise.

I think I became sensitized to long clutch throws when I drove my '03 330ci....it had clutch pedal travel out of a '55 GMC....

It allows you to start the car without pressing the clutch pedal.

can't you just turn off this requirement to depress the clutch to start the vehicle using NCS Expert like you can on BMWs?

Yes, NCS will do that. I had Code My Car do it years ago. This is a two stage mod - delete the clutch interlock and then put in a clutch stop to reduce the length of the throw. For most people, this isn't a high priority. I guess I'm fussy about ergoonmics.
