18x8 Wheels, So What Size Tires?

Hey guys, I own a 2011 Mini Clubman at stock height and I've bought 18x8 +42mm offset wheels for it. I'm struggling with what tire size I should run. I'm thinking 215/35 would be a solid combo, but I'd like some input from someone that may have the experience with them. Thank you ahead of time.

215/40/18 if you are on coilovers, you might be able to get away with 225's if you are just on a mild spring drop.
Mine with KW V3's on dropped coilovers 215/40/18 45et with 5mm spacers

I'm running 225/40/18's on a factory R95 wheels with no spacers. Factory JCW suspension, no rubbing.
