2010 r55 jcw

Hello All I just got a 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman with the JCW package and absolutely love it. There are a few thing I would like to change and would appreciate your help. I am based out of Boston MA

1) A ECU tuning kit that had worked for my fellow MC Clubman drivers. ( something affordable )
2) Recommended spark plugs.
3) Looking for a 2nd set of wheels (Winter wheels)
4) Has the big JCW brakes but I am not a fan of the stock pads( tooo much break dust ). looking to get something better.

I want to turn this mini into a nice sleeper car.

Thank you all in advance.

Welcome! Looks like a factory JCW clubman, these are great cars, and the clubman has that extra dose of practicality.

1. I think most people on here with your N14 engine choose Manic tune, there's a vendor here on NAM that installs it and is highly recommended (Mario Kart), but there are many other Manic vendors in the US. Contact him for pricing.

2. NGK spark plugs are good, these are the ones for the JCW. Keyword ILZKBR7B8DG: https://www.amazon.com/NGK-95770BOXO...ds=ILZKBR7A-8G

3. JCW brakes limit your minimum wheel diameter to 17" so anything 17" and up will fit. People occasionally sell winter setups here on the marketplace so maybe keep an eye out.

4. Yup, I agree!! Too much brake dust. I am still on factory pads but heard EBC Redstuff is good.

I believe that you have two options for a tune-
-AccessPort - used on NAM classified ads....usually about $600
-Manic - do a search for Manic or Mariokart

Not sure on the plugs for a JCW...most people stick with NGK's or Brisk plugs

With the big brakes, you'll have to stick with 18 inch wheels or get creative with spacers. Check out TireRack and OutMotoring for some options
edit- I guess that 17's will fit!
I've used EBC Reds and CarboTech brake pads - they're both good and produce less dust. Do a little checking though....the feel is different....but very much in line with a JCW.

Nice car!

I did my plugs on my JCW every 30K. JCW get it done more often. I went with NGK

Pads :

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2009-.../Braking/Pads/

Hawk HP or EBC reds. Low dust and good bite. Middle of the road performance pad.

Wheels Winter : R114 JCW LM Rad Cross Spoke Wheel 17" (4x100) Anthracite Winter 17 x 5.5 ET:42 Part# 36116786220 Are the ones MINI made for the JCW brake guys.
