09 clubman s vibration then loud thud noise HELP

Tonight I got in my 09 clubman s and drove about 3 miles to work as I pulled into the parking sipot the engine felt like it had a ton more vibration then normal. I parked and on my first break 3 hours later I get in it and fire it up didn't sound quite right. Then in reverse I herd a loud thud sound that I felt in both the break pedal and gear shifter. Now it does not sound good at all I lempt it home (3 miles) on the final road I gave it a lil gas enough to make boost and let off and I could hear it make a slap noise as I let off. It's parked no didn't have time to look at it anymore tonight. Jumped in my jeep and headed back to work.

I just bought this car two weeks ago
55,000 miles and just out of Warranty
Checked the oil yesterday and it was fine.

Any ideas would be great. Sorry for poor grammar I'm a little bit pissed off right now seeing that I havent even made my first payment.

Not sure, possible timing chain or tensioner issue.

Open the oil cap and look around for plastic bits with a flashlight. A slapping sound sure sounds like upper timing chain guide rail might be shattered.
