Got the Bible

Got the bible for my wife's clubman. Ordered the Bentley Manual from ECS. It arrived today. Had a Haynes manual, hated it pictures were crap. The Bentley is the one to have good pictures and instructions well worth the price. I feel at least now I have a chance if I have to do work on it. Don't plan to as have warranty and upgraded service contract for it but now I have reference to go if things go wrong and no at the total mercy of the dealer. We give some one the Haynes for the cost of postage.

Lots of info, but no source is 100%.

The Bentley book is good, as most of their products are, but I just finished pulling the cylinder head on my wife's Clubman I found a few omissions in the procedures. I had to resort to RealOEM for the exploded parts diagrams, and also here to NAM to find out about the "hidden 10mm bolt under the intake".

Luckily there is plenty of white space on the pages for you to add your own notes.

Bentley also puts some info up on line, like the video on how to put the car nose into the service position.

Ordered mine too, just today. I guess ALL DATA and BMW/MINI still don't see eye to eye on releasing info.....
I've had Bentley Manuals before for other vehicles, they're usually VERY comprehensive
