crossbars for factory roof rails OEM the only choice?
 

The clubman I got for my wife has the factory roof rails (front to back, built into roof, think Subaru Outback), and we want crossbars for bikes, baskets and boxes...

We have only been able to find the factory ones for $200+. Has anyone found any from thule or yakima? all the ones I have found are for the bare roof minis..:thumbsup:

i will be scoring them soon enough... craigslist has some nice rooftop boxes to help wifey bring daughter to college!

Get yourself a good roof basket. Many of them now come with simple crossbars for cars with existing racks.

Check these out that I installed. May not be the best visually looking but they look good in person... and they were inexpensive.

I want to get a roof cargo basket to stay on permanently for easy use, so depending on how its equipped these may stay or go.
