clubman exhaust... ideas...

After an exhausting (HA!) search for catback exhausts for my justa clubman and coming up empty handed other than making my own, I got to thinking...

They probably don't manufacture a whole new floorpan for the Clubman S models. Sure enough, there are bracket studs and part of the heatsheild leads off to the "muffler free" side of the car.

So what I am thinknig is purchasing a heatsheild and mounting bracket for a Clubbie S and somewhere down the road find someone selling their stock catback. Obviously I will have to cut the bumper a tiny bit, but no problem there.

Has anyone done / attempted this?

The newer clubman S models don't have a heat shield on the opposite side, so you could probably get by without the add'l heat shield.
