Clubman on R84's?

Does anyone have a picture of a clubman with R84 wheels?

I'm looking to upgrade my 15's and I liked the R84 wheels on a 06 MCS I had a while ago. Found some used ones but it's a long drive so I'd rather see them on first.

Thanks for your help.

In all honestly, you probably won't find many as the R53 wheels require a smaller lug bolt.
The R56 / R55 take an M14 bolt, where as the R53's are M12's.
A lug stud conversion would be needed to mount them.

More MINI wheel info from our friends in the UK.
http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...wheel_fitments

17" R-90's, S-lites fit the second gen MINI Clubman included so I bet 16" R-84 X-lite wheels fit too.

Here is a quote from that link, "On July 12, 2006 the size of wheel bolts was changed from M12x1.5 to M14x1.25. There exists a misconception that this change in wheel bolt size precludes fitting early OEM wheels on later model cars. This is simply not true as all OEM wheels have holes large enough for either size wheel bolt.

It's the front disk brake size that determines which OEM wheels will fit as shown below".

Ask around I am sure someone is using the 16" R-84 wheels on a Clubman or Clubman-S. They are pretty light, 17.6 lbs. and are popular with the autocross crowd.

thanks for your reply, very good info. I would still like to see a picture of them on a clubman.

Well... could not resist and since I loved the R84's on my last '06 MCS, went ahead and found a used set and put the on my Justa Clubbie.
What do you think, I don't think there is another one around here in PR like this.

Will be picking up a set for my wife 2011 Clubman tomorrow. The need a little work and paint but for $100 cant' pass them up. A little curb rash and some scratches. I have ordered a repair kit. Might have them powder coated a friend has a Powder Coating Business. They will still be silver maybe a little shinier. The Stock 15" wheels are ugly.
