SPOILERS: JCW spoiler or factory spoiler or more?

I've been thinking of adding a rear spoiler to my Mini Cooper Clubman S. I've seen plenty of spoilers on the internet but haven't seen any in person. The few pictures i've seen have only 1 or 2 angles. Can people post as many pictures and angles of spoilers for the clubman. I'm leaning towards the JCW spoiler but i'm worried that the glued spoiler will be a problem in the winters. Also is the spoiler you have glued or bolted on? Any suggestions or pictures? Any negative stories about spoilers coming loose? thank you

Having seen the OEM spoiler in Frankfurt I have to say I REALLY liked it. It was the first time I'd seen it in person and it looked a LOT better than any pics I've seen. I still want to see the JCW spoiler in person.

I had the glued JCW spoiler on my previous CooperS Clubby and it survived 3 winters with absolutely no issues.

I have pictures in my gallery, including some of the install and the fancy rig they used to keep things straight while the glue dried ().

I personally think the JCW CF Spoiler is a little ricey unless you have a purpose built track car.

Big wings just dont look good in my opinion. The OEM one like the OEM MCS one looks perfect to me.

bUt your car your choice. my .02

I've never been a big fan of the JCW wings, but I saw the one on the Clubman and LOVE IT. I'll be adding one to my Clubman soon. I've got a few pics of them installed on my site if it helps you.

I actually am getting the JCW spoiler. I currently have a loaner waiting for it to get installed. Should have pictures of it within a week. The JCW spoiler is glued on. The spoiler in the pictures of WAYS is the factory spoiler for the clubman and clubman s. That one is bolted on

I was over at the my local Mini dealer and I asked if they ever saw the JCW spoiler on the Clubman. They told me that there was a Clubman over at their service center having one installed as we spoke... I ran over to the service center and saw the car. The spoiler was on the car with a whole bunch of tape holding it steady while the glue "cured". The "glue" is some space age, 2 part polyurethane glue that they apply with a special gun. Looks pretty cool... Very edgy, I like it a lot! I think it changes the whole look of the Clubman significantly.

Same racks as mine but different spacing. A side shot would be great.

The only thing that glue isnt good for is extremely high speeds. Mine started to peel after several high mph excursions. I took it off and sold it at that point. I still think it is well suited for the clubman just not mine

I think any repeated runs over 120 will cause it to start to peel... Let's put it this way the r56 six speed manual trans is out of gear at just over 160. That being said, the fact that it peeled front to back leadse to believe that the spoiler is somewhat functional.

I'm not trying to be a douche, but how did you prep the spoiler and roof first? I've seen MUCH faster cars drive MUCH faster and not have issues with separation. If you're using the urethane adhesive I'm thinking of, it had to have been an issue with prep or the adhesive was expired.
