Opinions on Mini fini Club Link and Bike Rack

I am exploring the idea of installing a Mini Fini Club Link on my 2010 Clubman so I can haul around a couple of bikes. Does anyone have opinions or feedback on this? I also considered a roof rack, but it will be too challenging to lift my bike above my head.
Also, does anyone have recommendations for a shop that can install the Club Link for me? Thanks.

The Mini-Do-More hitch is working out fine for me. I've had it on for a couple of months. With some patience, the install is a DIY job. It was unnerving to drill a hole in the bumper... I'm keeping a Thule 4-bike foldable rack mounted. With the bikes on the rear, you're freeing up the roof for a box if you need it. Maybe you need to say where you are for someone to suggest a possible shop.

Hi Arthur,

Thanks for your feedback. I also considered the Mini-Do-More hitch, but anticipate that I may be carrying my snowboard in the near future. Is yours a 1 1/4" hitch? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Expense wise the MIN-FINI products are MUCH more expensive. and yo MUST go with their adapters. In Fact up to 3 times more expensive depending on the items you go with. But they are a very good product.

Mini Do More hitches are 1-1/4" and any aftermarket hitchmount for 1-1/4" recievers will fit. I beleive that both Thule and Yakima make an attachment for the hitchmount racks to carry skis/snowboards. I have seen them here in New England many times.

1 1/4". Thule Roadway 4-bike rack. We pack ski's in the box, better protection from road salt ... and the box will hold other bulky stuff such as helmets, poles, boots, crap. I ruled out Mini Fini solely on the basis of cost. Plus, I can drill a hole that'll be covered up by the license plate - with the Mini Fini, it seems there's little room for error.

Bay Bridge Motors does Mini Fini installs. They did one for me on my previous Mini - a 2006 S. I have also had Koni FSDs installed there and body work. I was very pleased with them.

They are located just across the Bay Bridge, 2408 Mandela Pkwy
Oakland, CA. Phone 510-208-3273

I considered the Mini Fini for current Clubman but decided on a roof rack so I could haul my recumbent trike.

Good luck.
