Places your Clubman says Clubman

I remember an MA a long time ago telling me that there are very few (just one?) spots that actually read Clubman in a Clubman. I found one on only one of the door sills, far against one of the ends in between the checkered silver (in my case, from a cooper s door sill).

No other mention of Clubman, anywhere.

Right? I kind of wish the boot had, standard, the Clubman carpet. OTOH that would make access to the under-floor storage area trickier.

I like to think that like a VW Beetle, they don't really need badges on them. I mean really, do people need to be told they're MINI Clubmans at this point?

miniclubman - is there a CLUBMAN2? There's a Subaru Forester that parks in the underground at my office, and their license plate says FORESTER. 10 inches from the factory FORESTER badge...

I guess it's easier to read for those behind you?

I think I have to agree with TAYSAN.
A Clubman is distinct enough; there doesn't need to be any other badges to identify it. The S is an important tag for those who care and don't see the styling difference, I guess. Otherwise, I think the Clubman stands out without the tags.
Love the extra room.

You could always do this. I used the smaller letters available.

Clubman letters

Its been awhile but I believe the place was EmblemLetters.com and I purchased the 7/8" size. I believe MiniMania has them but in a larger size. They are individual letters and you have to take your time installing them, spacing and alignment but I loved the end result.

I wonder if anyone ordered the illuminated sills from the factory that says Clubman. It is a $490 option.

ZUG Badge

I don't know if you got one of those ZUG boot badges. I put mine on just to be different. It's black with the chrome lettering that says ZUG MINI COOPER CLUBMAN. It's pre-cut to go in the middle of the barn doors.

No one has any idea what a "Clubman" is.

It's probably one of the least known model designations out there, especially since MINI decided not to place any factory badge on the car.

I have a "CLUBMAN1" plate because MINI owns the "CLUBMAN" plate in NY.

Most asked question: "Are you the club-man?"

When I explain it's the model of the car, I usually get a very quizzical look.

So, do people really need to be told they're MINI Clubmans?

Yes, they do!

Some dealer in California took "CLUBMAN", so I tried the next best thing......with about the same results as Miniclubman

Nevermind in MA I wouldn't even be able to use CLUBMAN (too long).
But I'm going to request my vanity plate soon... I'll reveal later.

But in Mass you could go with CLUBMN, or CLUBIE, as it they do not seem to be taken yet.
