It is a MINI spoiler that is what you could call the "factory" version. I think it looks a lot better than the first(JCW?) version...
this one follows the rear roof line perfectly, and is very smooth looking...
...as opposed to this one, dubbed the "JCW" spoiler...
In the past spoilers in the US have not been available except from the factory. I.E. not available to be installed after the car has been built. It has something to do with the airbags that run along the ridge line
I hope they are changing this policy as i would like to have one on my clubbie. but when i ordered mine there were none even available.
And personally i like the JCW style better. But the Newer one does flow with the car better.
I decided to ditch the idea of getting one. It'll look foolish with my factory roof rails. I do think it looks very cool on the non-roof rail Clubmans though

JohnJohn, To confirm your decision to "ditch the Idea" - the roof rails option and any factory spoiler option are mutually exclusive. Because the roof rails 'Rear most' mount point is the same position that the factory spoilers mount 'It's one or the other'.

Good to know. I'll just turn my Thule fairing upside down and mount it to the back Thule cross bar.
