Is this an Clubman 'S' or a Justa... and what was wrong with the clutch?

I am picking up my 09 S on Monday. I have been averaging 1100 miles a week for the year. There will be no slow down in my driving. I am looking forward to being an active member here.

81K on mine. One factory clutch. One axle. Two or three ecu "updates". I have 25k on the new motor and 8k on the second OS Giken clutch. Willwoods have stripped threads from being on and off for track days so the drivers side squeaks. (Stoptechs off my R53 are going on ;D ) Oh yeah and an AC valve and recharge at like 56k

13,600 on ours and hasn't been to the dealer except for an oil change I paid for. 0 problems although I almost burn't the clutch up trying to start in 3rd when I thought I was in first.

1 1/4 years. 14,540 miles.

- Knock/clunk from the engine/suspension at random times, that I can feel through the pedals. Dealer can't solve the problem. (This problem existed before any of the suspension mods I've done).

- Loud A/C issue. Fixed by dealer.

- Numerous poor build quality issues with exterior and interior parts. Most fixed by dealer.

- Sunroof sticks in hot weather (I just deal with it because the dealer said that if I'm not getting other issues with the sunroof then I shouldn't mess with it. ).

- Loud wind noise developed in passenger side window area at speeds above 65. Dealer can't fix.

- A few loud rattles. Fixed by dealer.

- Water leakage during heavy rain on both driver and passenger side windows. Fixed by dealer.

Update: 2009 Clubman S

Delivery 2/09, now has just under 30K....

Chain tensioner replaced at 3K........

Nothing else since, no sunroof problem (no sunroof ), no window problems, no oil problems, no clutch problems (oops no clutch either ), no high pressure fuel pump problems, no starting problems...........nothing.

Oil gets changed about every 7,500 miles, does not use any noticeable amount between changes.

The car has been to North Dakota and Wyoming on one trip, to Minnisota on another, to Colorado for another, one to North Carolina, Arkansas on two different trips, one to Texas and this spring will go to Phoenix. Fuel mileage best about 34, worst about 28 in winter.

Can't ask for anything more than this from a car!

Clubman 2008 S.
20K km.=12.5K miles.
Death rattle , small (very small) water leak on retard door seal. Both fixed by Downtown MINI in Toronto. Melted scoop also replaced by MINI DT, but then upgraded with m7 by me...
She runs better than on a day I got her...

'10 S. 6925 miles. New Windshield, brake pedal sticking, passenger door pocket been puked in, slight pinging from the engine, and loud vibration in the speakers when on the highway...otherwise fine. My dad and I think it was wrecked before we bought it new. It only had 16 miles on it, but then again, my dad was in a head on just after pulling out of the dealer with his '03 Altima.

Bought new in June 2008 and have driven 20k happy miles since then. Low mileage oil change at one year and service 1 awhile back. I had condensation in the 3rd brake light and it was replaced at one year. A minor rattle in vent housing around driver's left vent, but I'm living with it.

No major problems.

51,XXX miles. Only problem has been the cold start death rattle which was repaired under warranty. Going to replace OEM tires about the end of this spring. They still have 3 plus 32 seconds of tread evenly worn but I rotate them every 3thousand miles. Has slowly developed some small rattles. Was sorry to see them delete the tuscan beige leather as I thought it looks great with the hot chocolate exterior. Noticed they still have the beige shift and e brake, wonder why ?

84,000 since 11/2009 great up until today, water pump is leaking. Started to overheat this weekend and my mechanic just informed me that he read a bulletin stating that this problem is becoming common. Now I have to go back to the dealership and have it repaired $$$$$$. Oh yea, got rid of the run flat tires, much better ride.

My car just started doing this. It's a MCS hardtop with 33,000 miles.

Wow, for the most part Clubman's here don't get many miles! Delivered 12/09 and as of today I'm sitting at 28,600 miles with just under 13 months of ownership...and after having parked the car for roughly 3 months (out of town).

I've got a vibration that's stopped by pressing up on the passenger front corner of the sunroof/headliner trim. Similar sunroof sticking issues in the "hot" German summer. Brake dust has made my Pace wheels look like crap.

No other issues, but I'm 2000km from my 2nd service. If I'm extended over here the unlimited mileage warranty for 2 years will come in handy!

37850 miles since delivery in May 2008...

Only one issue - the oft-reported rough idle/dieseling due to some tensioning issue w/ the timing belt?.... Anyway - fixed under warranty...

Other than that spot free motoring!

5 days since I picked up my Clubbie and I ticked past 750 miles this morning on the way to work! Can't wait for break-in to be over! Should be sometime mid week next week (I drive ~100 miles/day)

Approaching 1800 miles , perfect so far. Hate the rear dust and run flats though. The 2010 was in the shop at 600 miles.

The back of my Clubman picks up dirt/dust something fierce. I love the look of the JCW spoiler and hoped that it'd change the airflow over the top of the car enough to lessen the amount of dust on the back doors. Experiment failed in that respect, but a huge win in the looks department.

2008...31050K miles. No issues. Drive it every day. Never been in the shop for anything but routine oil change/check up. No complaints, no issues (I better not be cursing things by writing this!).

2010 HB Clubman, got 5 weeks ago. Was an "Executice Car", so she is loaded with great options. So it already had 3500 miles on her. I have since added well over 1000 miles on her commuting on country/city roads. Getting a fantastic 36mpg! Dealer replaced a peeling passenger side door sill strip.

I have enhanced her cosmetically, thus "cutifying" her by replacing side mirror caps with checkered ones, and am awaiting delivery of matching rear view cover! Yesterday a complete stranger complimented my Clubbie, in my grocery store parking lot. Convinced him to go test drive one!

Hope to enjoy her for many, many miles to come!

50K miles. Had a rattle fixed in the dash. It's back, but I am living with it. No mechanical issues. Got rid of the runflats at 30K when a sidewall blew out. Much happier.
