6K miles since 2/28/09.

Nothing major. Minor buzzes that I'm slowly figuring out. ()

Mileage could be better (avg. 26). Happy, though.

Just turned 17,000 miles in 10 months, no problems so far except a month ago it developed a small noise in the back seat area, think its the rear seat because when seat is down there is no noise but will put up with until August and let the dealer sort it out. I have the "S" and am averaging 31.4 MPG, and always use 91 octane.

Just an update....

Ours is at a bit over 17000 miles, only issue we've had is the windows issue many have had. Fixed under warranty with the first service. Other than that, trouble free!

18,800 and the High Pressure Fuel Pump died. Limped home 2-1/2 miles at 20mph and had Mini Roadside Assistance pick it up.

Other than that 0 problems.

EDIT BTW she is now 1 year and three weeks old.

17K, back from service today. 29 mpg @27.5 mph. One key dead. Turbo cooler pump shorted, burning electrical plugs. New pump and harness. Tires officially shot. Hood scoop replaced, ditto wipers. Brakes all good. DME module faulty. Auto trans was hunting at low throttle. Seems better. Pricey with leather and auto, but I'd buy again.

I'm just over 22k miles in 13-14 months. So far, so good! I haven't had any serious problems, and it's only been in for its one scheduled maintenance.

28,800 miles to date. Within the past two months, we have had two tire issues due to poor road maintenance in our area (both tires replaced for free!). While the latest tire was being replaced, we had our 30k service done.

No problems to report.

23,000+ 2nd set of tires, third pair of front brake shoes and rotors, window reprogrammed, wind deflectors on factory aero kit replaced, working on third hood scoop. Tracked the car three times, which is why all the brakes and tires, and maybe hood scoops. Took it to Cape Cod, New Brunswick, the Dragon, Outer Banks, VIR (4), and Watkins Glen (2). It's my daily driver and I have never had so much fun.

Dang 2nd set of tires at 23k , sounds like you are REALLY having a blast.
I'm at 21k after 11 months of ownership. Only thing I brought her in for was door sills separating and the sunroof not opening to do heat. No other problems to report.

I have over 25,000 on my Clubman S which I bought in 2/08 and have run pretty hard since. I travel on 2hr+ trips on most weekend with my wife, two kids and two terriers. I have also taken it to Dragon's Tale for a little twisty mountain driving and even took it to the mountains for a Ski trip a few weeks after purchase.

My only issues have been:

1) The Sunroof Problem -- The sunroof would not open until about two months ago when I finally got a real fix from the dealer based on a new set of Mini Repair instuctions.

2) Rear arm rest plastic caps -- The right and left side plastic caps have popped off a couple of times. I think this is due to my kids pushing on them with their feet in the back seat. I would not call this a flaw it is just a little on the light side when it comes to kid wear.

3) Tires -- My tires are pretty shot and I am trying to find a good set of replacement tires. I rotated the tires about six months back and the wear is pretty even but the tire are OK and I am looking forward to getting a better set on my car soon. (205/45R17)

4) Acorns -- Damn them from a tree in my driveway have left a few dings on my hood that I have gotten fixed. Another item that is not really a Mini issue but seems like the skin is a little more sensitive to the other cars in my driveway.

Outside of those items the only things I would even mention is that the motor sounds pretty husky in cold weather. I love the car and would buy it again in a second. It has worked excellent for my family of four and saved us thousands in fuel cost last year alone.

Cheers,
Malc

Anyone else seeing a trend here?

The lack of real problems with these cars........kinda flys against the postings you read here about all the troubles folks have.......

23300 miles after 9.5 months. Two minor problems. 1) Gasket for moon roof lost adhesion at corners. - Replaced. 2) Left rear door wouldn't open due to water intrusion into wiring. - Repaired.
Since I crossed the 20k mile mark my gas mileage has gone up to 34.4 calculated.

31,500 Miles

No mechanical problems.

38-40 mph depending on which wheels are on.

My windows needed reprogramming a couple of times and the sill name plate on the club-door side did start to peel off.

Overall very good.

Just hit 70,000 miles ............ 1 major problem at 55,000 miles ......... Valves had alot of gunk on them and had to be cleaned by hand. My Mini mechenic said that it was a problem since there is no way that the engine cleans the valves itself. Mini is supposed to look into this problem and solve it but we all know what that means.

Other then that problem ............ I love my Clubby !!!!

Had MINIFred one year this month and recently passed 17K on mileage. Had the club-door problems just after delivery, fixed by the dealer there in Huntingdon (UK). More recently, the handle above the passenger door broke and was replaced by Desert MINI at the 15K check-up. Runs great, gets lots of attention.

~1400 miles coming up to its two month anniversary... one long trip to NYC and back from Boston:

when I drove off the car and got home, I realized the inside driver door handle would not unlock (only the central switch would) -- replaced under warranty
and I had them replace one of the side skirts because it was bulged out a bit

everything else, A-OK!

Coming up on 24K after 15 months - thought I would have had more.
Problems : low TPS warning on first cold morning gave me a bit of a scare; window on driver's side needed reprogramming twice - it's getting better, I have to "teach" the window where it is located by putting it all the way up AND down; run flats don't wear well and they are a bit rough on the butt when used with the SPORT suspension; rear wipers act up when cold, stopping mid stroke.
On the plus side - it is the best car I have ever owned; an absolute blast to drive, a head turner, great gas mileage ( 35 mpg avg.) and it is unique!
Don't forget to wave!

At about 18k and been problem free for the most part. They replaced the steering rack for me in the summer. I blame the poor roads I sometimes have to take more than the car..
