Food under the back seat
Does anyone know where food goes when it goes under the back seat through the hole for the seat belts? How do I get the food out? We had a long drive home from a funeral and I let my kid eat in my new MINI. Apparently he entertained himself by stuffing food into little nooks and crannies.

I don't know how to do it in a Clubman, but the lower rear seat cushion is generally very easy to remove. I'm sure someone will pipe up shortly with the directions, and then all you'll need to do is vacuum under the cushion.

Thanks, I hope so. In the event they don't, though, how do you pop the seat out in the non-Clubmans? It's probably the same. Everything looks so permanent, I'd hate to do some damage!

However, can you remove just the bench part of the seat like in this picture (I'll see if I can insert it)? And if so, do you just lift up on it? http://coopermods.com/images/RearInterior/5c.JPG (http://coopermods.com/images/RearInterior/5c.JPG) I DO THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! |
Yes - just pull out the four little plastic inserts for the child-seat attachments, and pull up firmly on the front edge of the seat. I think there's a little bar in the middle of the seat towards the rear, so you'll have to wiggle the seat cushion a little bit to clear that, but it's not difficult.

Yes, it's easy to do. Just pull out those four child seat anchors and then pop the bench out.

Thank you all so much, I'll give it a try. :)
