OEM badge holder for 09 Clubman?

I have 2 OEM badge holders on my 06 MC. I understand that they are no good for the 09 Clubman.

What is the best alternative available that will not damage the front grill of my new 09 Clubman?

Thanks

We have the magnetic badge holder from Craven Speen, you can even offset it so it doesn't block any air flow. Its great! You just have to pinch some clips in the grill to get behind it but otherwise it is very easy. I know full instructions were included.

Interesting...because I ordered 2 OEM grill badge holders from Morristown Mini. One went on a friends 2006 MC and the other went on my '08 MCS. The part # is the same for both. The badge holders come with all pieces to be used on 3 different Mini grill types.

How would the Cravenspeed version work for a Non-S Clubman - without that grill, but instead with the chrome slats?

It appears that issues are that for the NON S version of the 2007 R57 and the Clubman Cooper that these badges won't mount unless the grill is removed..see this link that I found on another thread: http://robrobinette.com/MiniGrill.htm
The holder is just a piece of round metal secured to your grill that you stick the magnetic badges on. To install the holder on the non-S Mini Cooper, R56, 2007+, the grill must be removed and two holes drilled in the grill backing (not in the chrome).
However, I just received an email last night from Cravenspeed about a front mount via the tow hook they have in the works.

I installed the Craven Speed badge holder about a week ago on our '09 Clubman with the chrome slat grill. You have to remove the grill, but it is very easy. The previously mentioned "how to" link is a must read. One thing I would add is to go ahead and mask off the top of the bumper with blue painter's tape before you start. Then, there is no chance of you scratching the bumper. You will need to buy a couple of 2" long screws (use stainless). The screws that come with the badge holder are way too short. Before you drill the 2 holes, mask off the chrome above and below the spot to be drilled so you don't accidentally get against the chrome with the drill bit. Don't over tighten the screws and be sure to check the radiator for clearance; it's pretty close and you don't want the ends of the screws touching it.

We've had very good luck with the craven holders.

And the price on it is better than the OEM.

Cravenspeed's license plate badge holders

I've been in touch with Cravenspeed a few times and here are two examples of that they're planning. They are taking names of those who might be interested and will get in touch when they're finished w/the prices.

Is there any way to install a badge holder on a '10 Clubman (non-S) without drilling? I took off the grille and noticed there are holes there that might line up, but the OEM holder I purchased didn't have long enough screws.
