Who's got the most miles on their clubman so far?
Just curious to know who has logged the most miles on their Clubman. My husband was asking me what sort of service issues had come up so far, and I started listing the ones I had seen, but though it would be interesting to hear feedback from some of you.

Probably NOT the most..bought on Memorial Day..just hit 8,000 miles. Issues: Had to get the High Pressure Fuel Pump replaced. Have not fixed the sun roof issue (rear sun roof is crocked), and of course the "suicide" door speaker rattles terribly (glad I dont like Hip Hop!).
Other than that it is a GREAT car...am now averaging 31 mpg (Bowie, MD to College Park, MD) drive it at least three times per week and A LOT on the weekends!

How many miles
Well, I definitely don't have the most miles, only about 325! - but the first ones are quite sweet.
We took a trip from Philly to Annapolis Boat Show today, averaged about 54 mph (from stop and go traffic on US1 to at times hitting 75-80mph on sections of 95) and according to trip computer, did 36 miles per gallon for entire trip! Cruise control very useful in getting great mileage
Coming home a guy in a late model VW what-ever gave us a thumbs-up. Many others look and nod with that "nice car" look.
First issue with car is seat belt light on, even though we are buckled up and "aribag initialization failed" indicator is on. Will call dealer this week and see what is up.

From Virginia to San Francisco in April.
San Francisco to Virginia in June.
Virginia to Toronto and back in August.
Problems:
1. Passenger window dropped 1 inch upon opening door but would not automatically go up upon closing door--fixed
2. Windshield cracked for no apparent reason. I paid for replacement.

Purchased the first clubman that the dealer received in March 2008. I have driven 12,600 miles so far in my pure silver/black clubman. High mileage is because I have already made some long trips.

I did not take many pictures. Here is one of my clubman at the peak (10,000 ft+ peak) of Wyoming Snowy Range Scenic Byway 130 soon after it opened in June.

I picked Edgar up on 8/25/08 in Southampton, NY - logged over 3,100 miles over 9 days taking the back roads to home in Phoenix, AZ.
I have a blog of the trip and pics if you're interested:

As of today, I have 5,100 miles on the Clubman and I don't regret a single mile. I use every excuse to drive and often take "new" routes to routine places.
One suggestion - if there are any MINI owner clubs in your area, JOIN ONE NOW! I've met so many wonderful people and they are always coming up with new and fun places to drive!
