I had the infamous JCW (yes, there is a "non-JCW" one) roof spoiler installed today, and here are a few quick pics of her all bandaged up - post surgery.
The patient is resting well, and will have new pics taken in daylight tomorrow...

can we talk about the non-jcw spoiler? this is the first i've heard about it...
+1, this is one of the mods I want to add to mine, besides getting some bronze or black rims.
What is the costs plus install? Did u or the dealer do the install?
I think I was quoted $500 for the spoiler and another $200 for install.
Does that sound about right?
by jove, he's right. the configurator looks like there are two different spoilers. a smoother, more rounded on in step 3 under handling and a bent one in step 6 under exterior styling.
does anyone have shots of them for a better comparison? it's hard to see in a 2" x 2" picture...

I'm in Canada, so I'm not sure how much is relatable...
Cost for the spoiler itself, primed: $370-380 CAD I think
Painting: dealer charged me <$200. Maybe you can do better on your own?
Installation: 1 hour of shop time
My dealer forgot to include the "sealant" as part of the quote, so they didn't charge me for it. It runs about $75 CAD.
So this sealant is a recently de-classified military super glue - it sets in 60 seconds but then takes 5-6 hours to cure/dry.
