I want to order the OEM Roof rails(Not the rack) on my 09 Clubman and i want to put a union jack on the roof. So I have a couple of questions. Who installs the Union jack(The factory or the dealer)? Who installs the rails(The factory or the dealer)? Do the rails bolt through the roof decal? Is the Union Jack narrower than the rails?

If anyone has a picture of this I would love to see it?

Graphic usually goes from edge to edge. so unsure how they will handle this.

 

Take a look at this site for Cooper Flags..and check out their FAQ section..there's a pdf for installation of a flag on a MINI with a sunroof...and then you can always call them in the morning. http://www.cooperflags.com/Flags.cfm

 

Then it sounds like even though the configurator will let you do this, you can't. I suspect I will have to decide. Do you have roof rails? Do you like them?

 

Roof rails (the factory installed ones available on the 2009 Clubman) aren't out yet - at least not here in the USA...it's something that won't become available until, I believe, September. Check out the Roof Rails thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=151385 and I think it will help you on the difference between the '09 rails and the '08 roof rack base.

I was just getting ready to post some info about Clubby roof graphic and saw this thread.

When you get the roof rack for your clubman I think a UJ flag just down the center ( in between the roof rails) will look best. http://aestheticreations.net/roofgraphics.htm you can purchase any of our roof graphics for the clubman as well. Right now it seems the only way the roof graphic works well with a fairly easy install is to just put the flag down the center( in between the roof rails). We can Precut the Clubby roof graphic for that fitment. We are working on a new template as well to cover the whole roof and should have something in the next couple weeks.

 

I am not going to order the rails. Howver i wanted to make sure that you can put your roof graphics on a Clubman with a sun roof. Is this OK?

 

Sure thing. You have to options on the website. Solid or perforated Sunroof. I would suggest the solid as you get a longer life out of it and it looks better with a full roof. If you want to see the sun just open the Sunroof

 

OK great , car comes around Thankgiving. Can i use any 3M or Similar installer of Stonegaurd or related products.

 

Pretty much any installer that has done a full vehicle wrap can put on a roof graphic. if you email me with your address I can find one on your area.
