I have a 2009 on order with roof rails. When I look at the order from the Owners Lounge website they are not listed. It is my understanding that they are a factory installed option so I would think they should be listed.

Would like to know if someone else has an order with this option and if roof rails are listed as an option.

Asking MA has been a wasted effort.

I already have my clubman so no roof rails--but when on order the owner's lounge left off a factory option I'd ordered (USB/iPod). My MA was easily able to show in their computer system that it was indeed ordered. And the car did show up with it.
If your MA is no help, ask their boss. You'll get an answer from someone credible and maybe the MA will learn something.

 

The owners lounge does not show all factory options for some reason.

I had a few options that did not show due to limitations of the amount of characters they could put in that block.

Just check with your MA and they can show you the actual order sheet with the info on it.

 

Ditto. The OL doesn't list my roof rails either, but my MA gave me a copy of the order printout and the rails do show there. A few other factory options weren't showing on the OL screen, but appeared within the past few days. A bit strange how the information works in this whole ordering process, but it seems to be the way it is. And the information surrounding these rails and how they'll really work is nebulous at best, but I'm shelling out the bucks nonetheless.

Sometimes I almost wish they didn't offer all these options and make you custom order the car. It'd be easier for me to just walk up to a lot with half-a-dozen cars and pick one, without all the deliberating and searching for info.

 

Dosent show up on mine either, alot of my options took about a week to show up. Its on the build sheet from the dealer, I didnt leave the dealership till they ordered the car and I had a production # and we check over the order.(we found errors and corrected them). Unfortunatly the online car you build does not transfer to the computer that places the order and has to be entered by hand again. I have confirmed with both the MA and ask mini and they confirmed my order and the changes I made. Ask Mini was able to give me a production week and build date 3 days after I ordered. OL still has it as ordered. My question currently is Sunday considered the last or first day of the week in UK as my week is 36 but my build date is 9/7 which in US would be week 37.

 

i have my clubman on order, week 33. already built and now waiting transport. i too ordered the roof rails and on the same day of my order i was told by my MA that this option wasn't available till later. something like oct. i would call your MA and make sure they're available.

 

OL is always behind! It was still showing my MINI waiting to load while I was happily driving her in CA!

Call the 800 number. Those folks have much better and up to date info up until the car leaves the factory. Then you are in purgatory until you receive the MINI.

Eyevin68: Isn't a Week 33 build a 2008 Clubman? Thought the 2009 Clubman started spec-ing out at Week 36 or so. Perhaps that's why you couldn't get the rails, its a 2008?

 

Well maybe, but not in my case, JCW r55 are only 09. still no rails either way

 

What date did you order yours?

 

Thurs. July 31st. week 33 but i think it was started early
