I searched but didn't find an official thread for this color. I would love to gather all us NF Red Owners (and soon to be owners) together. Anyone who has their car already, pics are always welcome! (hint hint)

I was just hoping to see if there were some people with NFR Clubmans out there. The pics I have seen of the Clubbies have been primarily with the silver roof/trim and I was hoping to get some shots of a black/black with the NF Red and black bonnet stripes. I am also just jealous because all the other Clubman colors seem to have owner's clubs and I think the NF Red people need to organize . I guess there just aren't that many of us out there yet. Once I actually get my car (hopefully Oct/Nov) I will visit the NF Red support thread and post some pictures!

No pic, but I did see a NFR/B w/ black bonnet stripes parked downtown the other day. It also had the chrome ext. Looked verrry nice. I was careful not to leave any noseprints or drool on it.

 

I would've picked up a NF red Clubby, but they didn't offer it an S. I'm looking forward to all the pics this thread generates, this color kicks ****!

I really like the silver roof too.

 

You can check out our NFR Clubman in our gallery. It has silver roof and bonnet stripes. We also chose the white/clear turn signal lights. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to post a nice big picture like everyone else ...but I do know how to do smilies!

bring up the photo in the gallery, depending on the browser, get it's URL. (For Internet Explorer, right click, properties, then copy the URL to the clipboard, but there may be a new gizmo to do that now, I havn't done it in a while.) Back in the thread you want to post in, create your post, click in the little icon, and past the URL from your clipboard there. Then you get the picture!

And we've ordered a NFR/S Clubman, pretty stripper, for Sept delivery. I think it will look a lot like the one in post 7.

l thought you guys might like to see what it would look like with more red in the back. It's not quite done in Photoshop (the right side is still black) but it'll give you an idea. This is what l'm going to do to mine.

 

Thanks Chefghryll for the image. Sometimes I am not crazy about the contrasting rear pillars, but seeing it absent in your photo makes me miss it and think that it does add to some of the car's character.

 

My husband wanted to see about doing that mod because he doesn't love the contrast trim that much. I think it takes something away from the design and makes it look more "station wagon" than I like. I do think there are many that are turned off by the contrast trim though so expext it will be a fairly polular mod (esp. with a body color roof). They are all pretty, and the variety is what makes them MINI's!

 

It's a nice red, too bad it's not available on the S!
