R55 How many 2009 Clubmans will Mini offer for sale in U.S.?
Cowley (Plant Oxford in BMW-speak) has a capacity to make 800 cars per day, 365 days per year - giving a theoretical output capacity of about 290,000 pa.
Clubmen were expected to make-up around 20% of that, or 58,000, for world-wide sales. But I believe that proportion is increasing - driven by US demand, so your 25,000 figure looks about right for Clubmen for the US.
(I haven't seen any output estimates for Graz, where Magna-Steyr will be building the Crossman/Monte version that is expected to be popular in the US in due course but those will be on top of Cowley's output.)
