They can't find my Clubman S
 

My Clubman S was supposed to be in Las Vegas yesterday, and I was to fly next Wednesday from Portland Oregon to pick it up. I called the dealer today, and they said they can't find it on the computer; he said this has never happened to them before. It left England on June 17, reached Long Beach on July 10th and then disappeared. Called Mini Usa and they said they know less than the dealer. The dealer is trying to trace it, but he says the transportation is by many 3rd parties, and they don't think they can. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope they find it by my flight. Anyone else have this problem?

did you get a VIN# initially?

Wasn't there a hurricane in the atlantic...maybe delayed? Did they try looking in the corner? I usually leave things in corners...dunno why.

yes, I've had the VIN for about a month.

Try not to panic...I'm sure it's some very odd glitch...but keep on 'em, too. Hang in there Mr. Dunn...I know you've really been excited about this delivery.

I'm with Otra on this one. I had a time my car was in the void but it all worked out just as planned. I'm sure they will find it asap good luck!

Just got a call from Las Vegas, and they found my car; to be delivered on Monday, and will be ready by Wednesday for pick up. Thanks for the support.

glad the issue is resolved in your favor. the case of vanishing mini would have been a good miss marple movie though.

Glad you found it! Others, including me, have experienced your "blackout" phenomenon somewhere between delivery to the VDC and delivery to the dealer. I tracked my Clubman prety much every step of the way, but could get no info on vehicle status for a week after the ship docked at the NJ VDC, and the dealer and MINIUSA were clueless as well. All's well that ends well!

Don't say that miniclubman. My MINI arrived at the NJ VDC yesterday...:impatient:
