Exposed Fuel Cap or Fuel Door?

Perhaps I've missed it, but why do I see pictures of Clubmans both ways? Was there a certain build date where they switched from an exposed fuel cap to a fuel door (or vice-versa)?

Cooper S has exposed fuel cap.....Cooper has fuel door:nod:

Hmmmm...maybe they changed it. My Clubman S has a chrome plastic fuel door that locks when the doors lock. The fuel door resembles a cap, but its a locking door.

Did they change it?

No.....I know there is a real cap underneath....when I said 'exposed cap' I just meant the fuel door that is styled as an exposed cap.

Sorry, I guess I just figured a gas cap was a gas cap and a fuel door was a fuel door (no matter what it looks like). My bad.

No worries...I just didn't know what else to call it. :)

Toot, toot. Yeah. Beep, beep.

Me too.

Yeah, the Clubman S has a big, chrome fuel door.
It's in the shape of a fuel cap. Cheezy.

I have an S with the chome cap, but I'd rather have a door (Chilli Red). Anyone in Central Florida want to trade? And how hard are these things to take off? How much would it be from the dealer?
