I believe they became available in the 2012 model year. I know that when I ordered my 2011, they were not.

 

You can order c-pillars in some colors but not all.

Interesting, when I used the configurator to add the body colored C pillars the area above the belt-line also became Pepper White so I didn't order it thinking i would get the lower half painted later.

 

I think thats because these are pictures of JCWs.

 

Rear door panels can be purchased insome colors but not many, Pepper white is one. $97 ea., they are fastened with screws, look inside your rear doors.

 

Does the C Pillar really go from the corner of the roof down to the bumper, across the bumper and then back up to the roof or are the corner pieces between the side and rear windows a separate piece from the C Pillar? In the pics it looks like there is a seam between the two.

So the parts are separate from the rest of the C pillar. I don't get why the C-pillar in body color option changes these to also match the body color instead of leaving them black to blend in with the windows. I think the appearance is better ala the JCW with respect to this. Now that I know these can be separated I may add the option. Less area to paint at that point....

 

My S has the black upper C-Pillars and PW below. That's not just a JCW option.

Don't know if this thread is still active, or not, but I bought a 2009 Mini Cooper S Clubman 6-Speed in Pepper White last weekend and loving it!

Great looking mini. I love the black mirror caps and black roof. Wish mine had that.
