I wonder how long does it take to get the cars from "awaiting carrier" to get to the port for loading. I'd fly over there and drive it to the port to get it on the next ship out.
Joep - The cars are already at the port, it's a huge staging area. Same thing happens when the ship off-loads, another staging area adjacent to the delivery center. My understanding is that MINIs get to the port of Southampton within a day or two of assembly.

Wow, that is exciting news. Hopefully, my Clubman can get on the Fedora. I have been trying to stay calm, but I am constantly wanting to call ASK MINI to find out the status of the car.
