Looks great, Relaxed. I will be doing something similar to mine over the next few months. Alright so here is my official contribution to this thread......
As of today I am the proud new owner of an 09 Midnight Black MCCS; Enjoy!
just seeing if i could join, i just got mine 3 weeks ago, and it just got back form the painters to paint everything body color and smoke the lenses, wanted it to look clean will take better pics once i clean it,
I really like the smoked lenses. It's not normally my style for modded tail lights, etc. but the smoked lenses have a very classy OEM look. I might have to attempt this myself.

Thanks everyone. I can't believe she is finally mine, I have been waiting for a while and it feels a little surreal that she is finally home. I am extremely happy; I keep waving at all the other MINIs that I see. By the way this is my first new car ever

very nice!
The blacks are very similar, there is only a hint of mettalic that comes through when you get extremely close or under florescent lights. Its quite stunning

Conception on Nov. 19 and home on Dec 11? Four week turn around is fantastic! Mine took only 12 weeks. (I had been told 20 weeks when the order was placed.)
Welcome to the asylum. Your Clubman look great! We all wish you many happy miles of smiles.

Fortunately, I live in Germany so it doesn't take as long to make it over here as it does to the states. The 19th is when I received my VIN, she started production on the 26th, then was finished inspected and shipped the 28th. She made it in country on the 3rd of December and was at the dealership the 5th. Then it was just waiting for customs, inspection and prep.

Thank you, I only wish I was in the states so that I could participate in the clubs and events.
WOW Lilliux! I can't believe how great it looks! I'm totally surprised, beyond expectation. If this color had existed when I was configgerin, my decision would have been a LOT more difficult!
Jeeez relaxed, that is one shiny clubman, almost looks a different colour to mine in the dull UK weather! Good Job. Can't wait to see some more piccys.

Being on the other side of "the pond does explain the quicker turn around time. Also the European plates. I see "Pentagon Car Sales" on the plate surround, so I am guessing your over there either in the service or accompanying someone who is.
I had the bad timing to place my order during the "Summer Holiday" at the plant. Also, I was one of the first '09s built, so it took 8 days to get from start of production to the truck. When I place my order, my MA told me that December was my projected delivery date, so I was very pleasantly surprised to take delivery in early October.
So far, the Ghost has been a pleasurable experience. It is great fun to drive. (even just cruising down the roads with traffic)
This car belongs to a customer. It's lowered on KW Variant 1 coilovers. The wheels fit the stock struts fine, but are rubbing slightly on the KW's, so it's going to need a small spacer on the front.
