You found a Rally Edition Clubman. Google search for more information. There were only around 100 produced, just in the US market. The silver sport stripes are part of the kit.

Thanks for the info! The stripes I took off were white.. and a bit faded.. hmmm
I only see descriptions of silver stripes. Either way I'm pretty happy with the car

As the owner of a pepper white/red roof JCW Clubman with GP2 wheels, I gotta say that those wheels look better on a black one!

Just moved into the new place with the (relatively) new Clubbie. Note the garage number. How cool is that?

This particular forum is filled with station wagons and dogs..Is this still the mini site? Maybe mini can sell some wood paneling for these station wagons too.

Yep, estates, or station wagons, have been part of Mini's DNA since 1960. Not sure about the dogs though so you may have a point.

Ah I remember the 1962 mini clubman (stationwagon) you could fit two surfboards and four dogs.

Goes with the Clubman / Countryman Territory I guess.

There are some company that wrap them. Not a factory part.

Wow, I have your twin, minus the green mirror caps, and I have a roof basket attached. And funny thing, I see you just bought yours in Sept2014! I just bought mine July 30th,2014. I am in SoCal. Where are you located? I am going to run out and wash mine up and I will get pics up in a bit. And I have not heard of the rally edition. I will have to look into it.

If anyone knows a place other then a Mini dealership to get a replacement key for the basket on top(Mini wants $35 plus tax), a link would be appreciated. I sourced a replacement key for the bars(etrailers.com, $5), but Thule says the lock on the basket that locks it to the bars is not their lock cylinder so they do not make the key for it. I was told by Mini that Thule makes the basket as well, but Thule says that if it was theirs, it would have their lock cylinder and it does not. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Basket top: Which comes with a set of keys. The key look to have a 4 digit number on them and are not available separately. You can get them with a new lock cylinder w/ key part # 82120442855 but we don't carry them. These basket are quite rare so i don't know about someone having the right key.

Thanks ECS. I appreciate the feedback. By chance, do you know who the manufacturer of the basket is.? I have been told Thule, and BMW so far but both of them say they are not.
As for replacing the cylinder, unfortunately, I need the lock cylinder unlocked, before I can replace the cylinder, and I need a key for that. Stuck between a rock and a hard place I guess.
I removed the bars and basket together as one piece for now since I was able to source the key for the bars. It actually wasn't that hard to do as one piece either so for now im ok i think.
Maybe the next step is to teach myself how to pick a lock, and I'll pick the lock cylinder locking the basket to the bars. HAha.
