I finally get to add my pics to this thread! Yay!

To be honest, I'm a LITTLE disappointed in just how dark eclipse grey is, but it just looks so slick I can't feel bad! I was really pleased to see that the rims weren't a gloss black like the website made it look, but a satiny color that almost matches the body. REALLY ties the look together!

Now it's time to start modding!

Totally! First things first I'm going to add a catch can when I change my oil after break-in, then a rear sway bar (19mm adjustable should be nice), black out the grill/headlights/beltline, and ditch the runbads for something that won't hydroplane on everything that isn't dry pavement! Probably getting a flexpod before long to toss up some useful gauges (engine temp and oil pressure).

I'm looking to add a bit of color to it, too. I was thinking I'd paint the calipers electric blue, and get some black rims with a blue stripe around the rim that allow for a better (ie- non-pizza-cutter) tire size.

Still undecided about stripes, but I know it's getting the "Cooper S" badge replaced with the "Clubman Estate" one like Tata Steva's got on hers.

I was unable to get out of the parking lot the next day. My roommate had to ram the snow piled up by the plows with his pickup.

Nice. Have you thought about blacking-out all of the chrome?

I like the chrome on the car, nice accent to all of the black... Not sure how well the pics show it but the striping on the hood, boot, and bumpers is flat black as well...

And I completely agree... Never going to be done playing with this car

Looks real good!

I like a little chrome on the car too. All I've changed, on mine, is the grill trim. I put the black JCW trim on it. I think it makes the grill look bigger against my red car. Chrome looks good against a dark color, like yours.

If you dont mind, can i suggest a blue! imho it would be killer color combination if you did the corvette ZR1 blue...its metallic and against a dark gray/black car it looks absolutly fantastic. i actually have the paint and plan on doing my dads audi (black) with the Corvette ZR1 blue on his calibers.

I'm thinking more like an electric blue...like a non-metallic version of the bright blue the original Miatas came in...alternately, a less powdery, nearly flourescent version of the blue Porsche uses for it's prototype cars. That should really make the calipers stand out (like yours do!), and should be able to match well with the (unfortunately) few blue ringed wheels out there...

Just can't seem to find any decent wheels like that in sizes that work on the mini, though...Might end up having to pain them myself.

Matte White Cluman!!

Hey guys. I wanted to wait until the rest of the exterior mods were done before posting but I couldn't wait.

I know it's hard to tell what the difference is in the pics but in person it's a huge difference from the original Pepper White. Here they are anyway. I'll use a real camera next time and shoot in more daylight next time.

Alta exhaust installed. Love the sound, but I think the JCW factory exhaust is more up my alley. We'll see on Wednesday. I'll upload the JCW once it's installed....
