More striping on the Hot Chocolate
Our color is fading into history, but we still love it. I have been hooked on metallic copper striping as the contrast and have now added three different areas of accent, two of which are posted above. The new one is my first side striping and was accomplished by using up a former dead end project in which I had bought Countryman hood stripes thinking I could make them work on my R55 bonnet. They didn't. So, half a year later, here they are on the side. I like the color effect but may not leave them as the last word in side graphics. I am eyeing the 'Ghost Flames' concept, but have yet to find them in metallic copper.
The Clubby turned 90k last month. All is well.

Hi All,
An HC traded hands and ended up in my lap. 58K miles, reasonably good shape. No sunroof, navigation, auto, etc. With so much traffic, an automatic is OK. We have had a clubbie before, a non-turbo that was a manual.
Here's some as-is pictures. Next week I am going to have some personalization done to the exterior. Those pics will follow...
And here is a shot of my original Clubman...
Best regards,
Terry

Hey everyone,
Here's a few pics of my '08 Clubman. I'm hopefully getting new wheels soon as they're from the previous owner who seemed to want to hit every curb!
I love driving her, Best purchase ever
Oops, forgot to add newer pics with my new hood scoops

I just bought it off of amazon. It was super cheap and it's stayed on for a few months!

Is there still no 'Iced Chocolate' club? That color variation was launched after about six ? years of Hot Chocolate enthusiasm, and is similar enough to join on to this H.C. club, but not different enough to have its own niche.
Why not start it now and see if some folks join a bit retro-actively?
You're also welcome to post here as far as I'm concerned. I like seeing them side by side to compare.

Just picked up my very first Mini yesterday, and as if determined by fate there was a single little hot chocolate piece of lovely just sitting over in the corner giving me those playful little looks. So I brought her home and just wow all around. 2009 Hot Chocolate Clubman S and I am hooked. It's now officially fun to drive again!! Found this forum and then saw there was a special place for us proud Chocolatiers, so I signed up and here I am saying hello from Tampa! Already looking at options to customize and I think I am going to turn this into a Chewbaccamobile. Instead of any stripes on the hood I am looking at a way to put Chewie's bandolier running diagonally across it. Add some furry seat covers and the Chewbacca seat belt covers and I think we're in business? Any recommendations on whether I should create a vinyl bandolier, have it airbrushed, painted...? Either way, I'm super excited and wanted to share!

More Chocolate here!
With our 2nd Mini, we went the chocolate route. 2009 Clubman S, auto. Mighty clean too.
No AC yet, but I don't care. (will fix it though)
Has the zip of our Princess, and rides a bit smoother. The sound system is better too. Next spring I plan to get another MCS w a droptop and a 6 speed manual.

Hot Chocolate History
I appreciate the invite to post, but while this does say Official Hot Chocolate Owners Club, every car here is a Clubman and even the first page specifically states Clubman. Hot Chocolate was also available on the Hatch, and as my new car is a hatch that replaced my midnight black clubman, I'll have to pass. Thanks though.
I'm not sure what year the Hot Chocolate color became available on the hatchback Mini, but there were a few years when it was Clubman only, as far as we knew. When the H.C. owners club started, it was a Clubman only population. Later the Mayfairs and other H.C. hatches found us and we've lived happily together, I believe.
Iced Chocolate didn't have an easy path to a club, but can consider joining here :-)
