Absolutly beautiful ....The car & photo composition.

WEEGIT 03-18-2006 02:55 PM

I didn't think the aero kit would make that much difference, but it does. Looks great. I went the cheap route and just switched front grilles.

indymcsc 03-18-2006 10:42 PM

Very nice. Beautiful day. It was sunny here today, but only 40 degrees:sad:

BuckeyeMCS 03-19-2006 03:18 AM

That is one sweet ride!

jaxmini 03-19-2006 09:19 AM

Wow! That is gorgeous! Just a couple of questions. Do you have any pics with the top up and can you get pepper white dash pieces from Mini? Bet that would look really nice too. Enjoy your new baby, good weathers coming.

BartMack 03-20-2006 04:28 AM

what-? the top's never been up!!

I wish they did offer PW dash, etc, I would've gotten that. Seems Pepper White is one of those colors not available on interior bits..

jaxmini 03-20-2006 05:08 AM

Bart, After seeing your car I immediately went onto Mini's site to build my own. Sadly, as you've mentioned, no PW interior. Bet it would look great. Have a great summer with the new ride.

mmatarella 03-20-2006 05:23 AM

Have you seen the thread on mounting front plates via the tow loop? ...to prevent having to drill holes in your aerokit? I wish I had before defacing mine.

I'm going to remove the plate holder and see if two small plugs painted body color look bad. If not then I'll move the plate to the tow loop mount.

LagunaSol 03-20-2006 08:43 AM

You're killing me here! No Pepper White available last year, so I ended up with Chili Red (which I do love, don't get me wrong...).

Beautiful car! Can you get the body-colored dash option for Pepper White?

qwertmonkey 03-20-2006 08:46 AM

I LOVE the MCSC With the top down. But I really dont like the way it looks with the top up. Wayy to PT Cruiser for me. IMHO

WeeGas 03-20-2006 08:49 AM

Very nice set of pictures. I LOVE the Pepper White with the Aero kit.

I used super-duty velcro on my blue MCS- had no problems, and I could pull it off to wash the car. To go completely bare you just peel it off and clean the glue off.

I'll look for that thread tho.

Hey, i really like your car BTW! It convinced me to get the aerokit and wetokole seat covers!! (thanks)

seventenths 03-20-2006 04:48 PM

Awesome! Love the Pepper White...
Nice photo composition as well!

7/10

Paul 03-20-2006 05:11 PM

Nice! Very nice!!  This combo will be my next MINI! Aero kit looks great also!

BartMack 03-20-2006 06:28 PM

hey thanks to all you guys for the great comments...
it's uplifting to hear so many compliments

unfortunately for me I just (finally) had my taxes done and I owe a bunch :sad::sad: there's a downside to everything :impatient

if I'd done them earlier I would've probably cancelled my order.. so I dont know whether to be happy or sad!

I guess at least I can enjoy a good top-down drive after a nice dinner of ramen noodles lol..

Wife's Mini

Attache are pictures of my Wife's new Mini.

I have a question on the durability of the front seat material. Her car has the tan and grey leather seats and the seam on the drivers seat bottom cushion seem to be pulling apart as the sticking is beginning to show and the gap has grown between the seam. Is this normal?

Thanks, Bob M

no, that's NOT normal... I had full leather on my last MINI (05 tintop) and though I never liked them as much as the sport seats with synthetic cow that I had on my 03 (yeah, had a LOT of MINIs here) because they didn't seem to hold as snugly, they were high quality otherwise, and no problems at all.

You should make your dealer replace the seat if it's coming loose somewhere. This is no Chevy y'know!
Report it to your dealer and even if they refuse at this point, you'll have recourse if it fails later!

Annewithane 06-05-2006 07:55 PM

BartMack,
Thanks for the wonderful pics of your car. Great lighting!

I have a PW convertible on order which was completed yesterday! It's probably going to be another month before I get it --so your pics are keeping me going.

Can't wait to drive it home!

BartMack 06-06-2006 05:40 AM

I saw a MCS here where a guy pulled the door rings and dash and had them matched to PW. Can't find the post anymore.
Going with piano black wouldn't be bad but strangely that's not an option either.

LagunaSol 06-17-2006 09:13 PM

The first couple of shots are poster-worthy. Thanks for increasing my envy of the PW cabrio...

It's pretty easy to do. I pulled mine and had them painted black at a body shop. It wasn't too expensive either!

MiniTron 06-19-2006 05:14 AM

There was a PW Cabrio at MOT that had black wheels and the black leather dash. It looked hot, hot, hot!!!

gvoelker 06-23-2006 01:21 AM

I wasn't a fan of pepper white until i saw this!!!

WOW  looks great w/ the aero package!

DarkMiniCooperS 06-29-2006 06:17 PM
