help

My MINI R52 replaced struts with OEM. did not lower it, also had to replace the lower control arm bushings. Everything is stock. I went to alinement the front and they said it was out of camber on the passenger side. There is no adjustment for this. the car has never been wrecked. The car was fine before, but the old struts did let the front down 1.5 inches. New struts have raised it 1.5 inches higher than spec

Hello, make sure the stuts are all the way in and the suspension has settled, drive it around for the day. The new struts vs the old struts should not change the ride height, that's the springs.

You can get these to help get the front in. Camber plates.

I would double check everything, it should go into alignment, if you still have a problem, get the plates, front adjustable plates. Next page has SPC and Kmac.

Unless the wrong p/n struts were installed, I'd be willing to bet that whoever did the install didn't do it correctly. Maybe they didn't fully bottom the strut/s before tightening the bolts or they didn't seat the springs in the perches properly.

Yep, i have seen cars before like that and my old R56 had suspension replacement before i bought it and it was not installed correctly by a local MINI owner that had it before. I had to take it apart and redo it.
