Help with Wheel size 17x8 or 17x9?
Hi:
Im new in the Mini Cooper World. Recently I bought a 2005 R52 and Im very impressed with the car.
I want to upgrade the wheel size from 16" to 17". The first option to consider is the STR (model 514) 17x9, offset +20 and 4x100. The second option is the AODHAN 17x8, offset +35 and 4x100. Really I prefer to install the STR but I dont know if they can be installed on my R52 using the factory suspension without make any modifications.
Any input of you guys will be appreciated, in order to select the apropiate wheels.

try willtheyfit.com to test different sizes and compare the changes to OEM size. And then there is a very long thread about 8"+ wheels. It should have more than enough examples of what fits and how it will look.
