05 r52 power steering fan fuse help needed!

My power steering pump and fan need to be replaced. While I wait for parts I would like to be able to pull the fuse that runs the power steering fan because it's not shutting down and is draining the battery.

I'm now cold and wet, tired of trying every single fuse and can't find a decent list of what fuse runs what online. If anyone could help me here I would be immensely grateful!

I don't think there's a fuse that can be easily pulled, if at all. I would also worry more about the car catching fire than the battery going dead, especially if parked indoors... seriously.

As much of a pain as it is, I added a battery quick disconnect switch because I had to store my car in at a relatives house occasionally. I wasn't having power steering pump issues, but just felt it would be safer since it wasn't my house that would possibly burn down if the pump stuck on one day.

It's an issue that's has happened many times, just search this and other forums for stories.

If the PS PUMP is staying on, You will need to disconnect the battery....no simple way to yank a fuse/relay...it is buried on the UNDERSIDE of the fuse block with the fuses under the hood...the fuse # for the PS FAN varies depending on the production date, and if the fuse was factory, or dealer rewired like on many 2005 year cars....
Yes...no simple an answer... The pump is very hi amp....so it does not have wires or fuses that are easily accessible.. Mostly for safety I bet.

What month ./ year production are you , if you are under the service bulletin, you can get it replaced by MINI. I would get that checked out asap.
