Part number for pin on top that fits in socket on A pillar?

When I closed my top this evening the plastic cover to the pin on the front of the convertible top shattered. This is the piece that lands in the socket on the front windshield/A pillar frame piece. I've looked at the Real OEM diagrams, but I can't figure out which piece it might be. Anyone replaced one yet? One of the diagrams has a description of "set of pins", but the number points to a rectangular block with a groove in it, and another diagram has a "fastening kit, ball pin", but it doesn't look like the part I need.
Thanks,
Steve

Here is the "Fastening set for gate" as on Realoem.com

54347163652 MINI part number.

Its a kit that contains those plasticity pin caps I think you are talking about. Looks like they are not on there own.

Are those the caps you were talking about?

Thanks

Yes! that's the cap that broke. I imagine the Vegas heat did another piece of plastic in. Thanks!

Yes, they Vegas heat and sun can do some damage to plastics.

You are welcome.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Did the rear trim piece dry out and crack yet?

Received the gate hardware kit from you yesterday and put my plastic tip back on. Thanks!

Yes, that piece is in bad shape, I think I also need the trim pieces that go up the back sides to the door opening as well. I'm not sure how they come off and the new ones are installed, though.

Great,

Yes the sun & heat over time can really do a number on plastic, and Vegas is hot and very sunny.

The back side trim piece lift up , they are held in with clips that are embedded in the new piece. Try to start them from one side gently.

#4 in the diagram from the rear side trim near the small side window.

Thanks, got the parts ordered. What are the two short pieces with the red (tape?) on them in the rear trim kit?

Great.

It will look nice and new back there. Since you are doing the sides also you will not see the faded rubber from the older part.

For the Convertible Top Rear Trunk Molding Kit:

Those are the foam buffer that fit on each piece, towards the back , that's why we have them picture that way. When you take the old one off you will see were those set into the old molding. They come new with the new moldings.

Thanks and let me know how it goes.
