Question about PDC speakers.

Hey all,

I've jusy had a frustrating experience with a foolish blind old man who hit the left corner of my 2006 MCS not once, but FOUR times trying to park behind me. He's scraped the bumper but I'm more concerned about another issue.

When I reverse I only hear beeping from the RIGHT side of the mini and I could have sworn I used to hear beeping from both sides when an object was behind me. Could someone clarify if there is only sound from the right side, or should there be speakers on both sides when beeping.

Thank you,

:(

PDC in a 2006 only has a single speaker on the right side.

In current models, PDC uses speakers on both sides and also stereo imaging that indicates the direction of an object.

Thank you very much, that news has relieved a lot of stress. I was worried the jackass broke the speaker on the left side - but there wasn't one.

Whew,

Thanks again
