R52 Rear seat stuck

Rear seat stuck

One of the two, on the driver's side, is stuck and won't fold down. Any ideas before I bring it to the body shop? There's nothing visibly broken, it's just stuck. The lever seems to work OK, it just doesn't trigger the release like the other one. I want it perfectly functional before I sell it.

Make sure the seat back isn't locked. There's a place to insert the key up near the headrest.

Awesome! A little embarassing to admit, but I just found out what that slot was for!!! I was wondering, and I didn't notice that it was at 90 degrees compared to the other one, I should've known better!

Anyway, thank you so much!

The car is now perfect, just needs the right buyer!

locked out.............

Dont feel bad. When I bought my mcs I had the same problem and it took me awhile to figure it out.
