Cable for 2005 S convert needed

Roof won't retract...stuck on left side...new cable mechanism needed. they only come in pairs for $575. Looking for someone who may have had similar issue and has 1 cable left over?

Are you sure you need a new cable?

I had the same problem but before I ordered a new cable (crazy expensive) I tried the JB Weld fix posted on YouTube. It worked great for me and it was nicer to spend $6 on glue instand of $500+ on a cable set. Here is the link

Take your time, have a few beers, and it is possible to repair, especially if the issue is that the cable broke off at the connector. Good luck, Art

the JB weld fix holds for a while, mine lasted for a couple years. I replaced the drivers side cable with a new one, but I still have the new passenger side cable.
