Let's "Visit" the MINI Factory

Just for fun, if you do not have GoogleEarth ...get it. Its a free download from Google and its lots of fun ("Hey ...I can see my house from here!")

So do that first.

Then tap these coordinates in the "Fly To" text box:

51 43 47.65N 1 11 53.20W

retain spaces as shown or just copy/paste the above line.

When you hit the return key the program will "fly" to the MINI factory SE of Oxford, UK.

Scroll around the property. Enjoy the self-guided tour. See if you can figure out what's what. Notice in the South East corner the little white lined grid with several MINIs sitting there all lined up - presumeably the output from the factory for that day (or hour).

See if you can see me stealing a few of them.

That's cool. Google is very neat. (Not in an OCD way)
Another busy workday... haha

Actually my daughter goes to school in Oxford, England.
St Claires to be exact.
When she found out I was buying a MINI, she got pissed because she thinks they are very ugly :eek2: . I nearly disowned her. How dare her :impatient

Then she realized my refined tastes and went to the MINI plant to take some pics to tell me that "Daddy, that is where your MINI is being made.
I had not the heart to tell her, I had just bought it off the dealers lot.
Oh well.... kids.

These look like MINI's ready to be shipped out. You can just barely make out a few bonnet stripes and the sunroofs:
