Roof Graphic (Heliport)

I am interested in the Heliport graphic for my LiB/W Mini.

However, I have a sunroof.

First, has anyone seen this graphic "in the flesh" yet? Opinions on it?

Second, how difficult is it to have it installed, and trimmed to allow the sunroof to still open/tilt? I have no experience getting this type of work done.

Cooperflags apparently sells product FOR this type of work, and it looks fine on the site. I don't know if my Mini service guy will do that kind of custom work, but I'll find out.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how the white Heliport graphic would look with a sunroof trim on it? I think the sunroof would roughly frame the "H" and the seam between the two panes of the sunroof would be along the horizontal line in the H. There is a picture of the graphic on the configurator under accessories/exterior. I haven't found a single other one.

Here is how it would look on a R53, from the cooperflag site:

And finally, how hard are the graphics to get off, and what is left behind as residue, if I decide it just isn't as appealing as I'm thinking?

Thanks!

Umm...thats an Irish Flag . Don't know about any of the earlier questions. But a heat gun/blow drier will bring it right off. Then claybar followed goo-gone followed by...well, and repeat will remove any left over residue, might take a few cycles.

Right, I know. Thanks.

They don't have any pics of what I'm asking about, otherwise I likely wouldn't be asking!

Thanks. I just wanted to show an example of a full roof decal with sunroof

I am not sure I would let a MINI service person do the work unless they had exp. with it.

A better bet is to find a local sign shop that does vinyl graphics and talk to them about the install - even if you get the graphic from cooperflag.

A good local sign shop has exp. installers that work with vinyl everyday and most do vehicle installs and wraps.

You never know... you might end up getting something totally custom and unique

Good luck
