Hello Alabama/Florida and surrounding areas. My wife and I are spending weekend of the 25th in Gulf Shores...anything happening down there? I understand this is "Mullet Toss" weekend....hummm!!!!! Please advise with a PM. Thanks

 

Hi there. Just read your post. There is a good possibility I will be down for Mullet Toss. If you've never been, you're in for a surprise. Make sure you make it to The FloraBama -- a local bar with live music. It's "Mardi Gras on the beach"! If I go I will probably stay at Pheonix V or VI. I'll be on the lookout for your Mini.

Noticed you are a Social Worker. I am a hospital administrator with Behavioral Health as one of my deparmental responsibilites. BTW, a good friend of mine is in Louisville: Todd Graybill -- do you know him? He's also in the behavioral health field.

My parents live in Gulf Shores. Not much to do down there. I can recommend a great little diner called Hazel's Nook for any meal you want to have.

Don't know Todd. Where does he work? We're staying at the Best Western...should be there Friday and Saturday night. Will definitely check out the FloraBama. Thanks for the tip. We've never been to the Mullet Toss...didn't know it existed until trying to find a room this weekend. Hope to see ya there. Will look for your Cooper. Thanks
