Removal of 2006 MCS exhaust tips

I want to remove the OEM exhaust tips from my 2006 Cooper S and add some nice turned up tips while I await for funds for an exhaust upgrade, (thinking of a Borla street setup). I can not see into the small hole on the tip (which I assume is access hole) to a screw of somekind to remove the tip.
I'm thinking it's an allen head. Can I get some help?
Thanks
Gary

It is an Allen head. The mod is easy to do [I did it and am not very mechanically inclined]. Unfortunately I cannot remember the size.
Good Luck

It is an Allen head. It is a little trickey to get to because you can't see up inside the access hole. Good luck.
