Ever watched "Big Brother"? Here's MINI Brother!
Absolutely hilarious... after sharing this with a friend, and he suggested I post it on NAM, I did some searches and couldn't find it, so I'm posting it now.
If you have ever seen the reality TV show "Big Brother", you'll get a major kick out of this. Even if you haven't, it's classic: IT'S MINI BROTHER |
 THAT is FABULOUS!!!!!
I loved the missing food! Thanks for sharing! |
Oh that is CHOICE!

Day 6 was the best!!!

 Ok, I must be out of it. Never seen big brother. Mini brother seems utterly stupid. Is it a funny spoof of big brother? I presume big brother is another reality series somewhere in tv wasteland?

alright. I'll try to bone up on Big Brother. The upward flashlight in the face thing reminds me of the Blair Witch project (or whatever it was) from a 4 or 5 years ago.

Here's the CBS website on the most recent one: Big Brother 7: All-Stars on CBS The best part of the show is that when they are broadcasting it, the people are actually in the house. It's happening in "real time". There are 3 shows (3 hours) per week, but 2 of the three shows are actually "recaps" from the most recent days... whereas the 3rd show (usually on Thursdays) is a LIVE show, and it's the day that someone gets evicted. A (not free) Internet feed is available too, for 24/7 coverage of what's going on. The show is basically the ultimate in (mostly clean) voyeurism. |

Blair Witch Project was 7, almost 8 years ago...whoa! time flys. But it was still funny either way.
It's as if my someone stole the remote control for my life, placed it in their back pocket and sat down on it, inadvertantly pushing the 2x fast forward button. If anyone knows who stole my personal life remote, would you ask them to at least hit the pause button? I need to take some time out to catch up on Seinfeld, Sopranos and now, Big Brother.:) |

Ouch, you know when you're getting old when 7 or 8 years feels like just a couple. Or... when you miss an entire 7-10 year run of a very popular tv series like Seinfeld or Friends.

 LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joey who? BTW, I'm the only fool on the planet who has spent the money for HDTV, own a decent LCD TV, pay the premium for HDTV dit cable, but finds it too difficult and bothersome to jump through 30 hoops to view the fricken thing in HD. |

Ok, truth be known, it's not 30 hoops... more like six or seven. Mine doesn't seem to have audio unless I run HDTV through the home theatre amp/receiver, which then sets the stage for other idiosyncratic choices, all the while requiring three remotes (cable box, receiver and tv).
I think NASA's mission control had a more simple interface during the moon launch, and that was for something worthwhile... not just television. |

Its actually very simple. Whatever you get TV from MUST on the back have three color analog outputs and two stereo. You run the three color component cables to the matching inputs on back of TV and the two stereos to the same R and L on TV. (I aint going to discuss the digital hookup because its more complicated) I bet your TV has multiple input sources so you have to find the correct one and using the TV remote select that source. Thats all there is to it. Just use your cable box (whatever) remote to change to a HD station and it will come up in HDTV. Once you see it, you will never go back. Yes, remotes are a ***** but you SHOULD be able to control your box and TV from the same box remote |
