Junior's First Service

Last week, during the first of the cold mornings here in Atlanta, Junior started acting like he had a cold. Since he doesn't have a garage to sleep in, I figured he was just complaining... Until Wednesday morning, when he started, coughed a few t-t-t-times and stalled with the SES light telling me that he was seriously unhappy.

So - got him in to the service folk at Global Imports MINI in Atlanta, and they took great care of the two of us. They gave me a loaner (from Enterprise rental) and Junior a new bypass valve - seems the original (2100 miles and two months old) was sticking during cold starts.

We're both much happier now - I can feel the difference in the way he starts and runs for the first few miles.

The folk at Global Imports were very prompt and professional. Just thought I'd share...

Happy Motoring!

Glad to hear everything worked out well and Junior is back to being himself!

How are things going with Guinness? I thought about him last night while having a pint of his namesake...

Guinness is great (and good for you, so they say)! Thanks for asking! I try to come up with any possible reason to drive him around. What a joy!
