R50/53 How many time have you watched The Italian Job '03?
The bikes were BMWs - German, not Japanese.
I've seen the movie dozens of times. I have it on DVD. When I watch it these days, I start it from the scene where Rob is pulling up to behind the other two cars just outside the metro because I love the sound the exhaist makes. It's also a well composed shot. The movement in the frame is beautiful.
BTW, the worst part of the movie for me is Mark Wahlberg. What a no-talent.
I agree with vazquezgordo, the extras/special features are GREAT! You learn stuff like Charlize did her own stunt in the warehouse test drive. All the actors had extensive training some of which occured here in Phoenix. How awesome would it be to see that?
Oh yeah...another thing...the MINIs used in the subway tunnel scene? They were ELECTRIC. The movie's engineer had to CREATE them because combustion engines are not allowed in the subway. How aboot that?
can u believe it?!
I must admit I've never seen "T.I.J." yet! Everyone who I mention this to says, "what? you? i don't believe it!" (further admission- I once d/l'd it off the P2P- after the first five minutes thought, "I don't want to watch this crappy version").
I finally purchased the DVD two weeks ago but still have not had a chance to see it. Don't tell me who dies @ the end!
(Planning to get a copy of the original one too!)
