Classic Mini and MINI's on TV

I was watching the 'Fine Living' channel yesterday and they had an episode of Carography all about the Minis (both classic and 02'-06'). Showed the first in 59' and then the intro of the 02' Version. It was nice to see the classic 850's sliding around the track. When do we get a channel devoted just to the Classic and new MINI, I'd watch, so would 800,000 others at least.

Another strange Mini sighting (sure seemed like one...)....

On the TCM channel last week I caught the 1964 version of Night Must Fall, with Albert Finney. An english bird (girl) had what looked to be a Cooper convertible, which she drove in circles around the manor lawn.... If this was not a Mini someone please tell me.... Some awesome shots of this little car thoughout the movie, including changing the front tire in a rainstorm....

comments other movie buffs?

Ooooo.....got some inside info there, rusty?????  I really liked the classic Mini scenes in various episodes of "Danger Man." If John Drake drove one, it must be very cool!!! Cool music, too!!

Maybe all NAM members can write to their dish or cable companies and beg for a MINI channel. It wouldn't hurt to try!! :)
