I have'nt ordered my Cooper S yet and I'm kinda tempted to hold out for a 2004 for maybe a few more color choices although I am having a hard enough time picking one already!..So anybody care to state their suggestions for new colors or perhaps you have some inside info on what they are going to be?

I heard thru the grapevine yesterday - 2 new colors for the Cabrio will be an Ice Blue (I'm not sure if that will be the official color) and a burnt orange..

OH NO! I really want to see a darker-type of vibrant orange on the Cooper and S - please don't let it be relegated to only the Cabrio!

I hope the orange part of the rumor is true (and ice blue sounds cool too) - but I sure hope they aren't limited to just the Cabrio.

 

The burnt orange with a black roof is something I would buy. The new gold just doesn't do it for me.

 

I would love to see bright orange...or maybe neon colors! Maybe I shouldn't go that far....but Neon Green would be neato!

 

I like d-mini's Silver/Grey/Blue, and I'd like to see them open up for a few more interior colors on the S, for example, BRG/Emerald.

Glad to see others interested in orange. Of course, the proper hue would be CLEMSON orange w/ White roof

 

the ice blue from the m3 is sweet, i dont know on a mini though

I'd like to see them offer Pepper White on the S. For some reason that shade of white does it for me.

 

I'd like to see a "real" BRG, not this metallic stuff we currently have.

I want Hugger Orange!

What I would really like to see is the silver roof like they had on the classic S's. Some one had a picture of a classic S with it a while back (I honestly don't know if this statement is historically sound) and it looked really cool.

I'd also like to see them offer pepper white on the S.

Less likely, I would like to see TVR colors on the MINIs.

 

I want BMW's Alpine White...
Le Mans Blue <--from the //M5 ...
and Carbon Black (not the damn Cosmos Black! grrrrr)

Oh yea, they all have to be Cooper S exclusive


Back to reality, I heard Pepper White will be available on the Cooper S also.

In the late 80s and early 90s, all the street rodders used the pastells..That really looked hot. As long as they are done correctly. i think a peach with bonnett stripes under about 20 coats of clear would be amazing looking. A car manufacturer would never go as far as putting stripes under the clear though.
