Hi all! Brian from Classic Mini here. I am looking for some info of the accessories/parts that you guys want to see go on sale. I am running a special on the alarm kit, Euro parcel shelf, R90s, and roof decals right now but I am looking for your input. We only sell original Mini Cooper parts no aftermarket here! I have been asked several times why I don't sell the aftermarket goodies and the answer is warranty! I am not speaking about Mini;s warranty, I am talking about the aftermarket manufactuer's warranty. I don't want to get involved with warranty issues. An example would be: I purchase an aftermarket accessory and a Mini owner purchases the item from me. A month down the road the customer has a problem with the part. They call me up and explain the situation and they feel the part should be replaced under a warranty. Now, if the aftermarket company decides they don't want to ante up the dough, then guess who gets stuck with the replacement bill, ME! I do't trust aftermarket company warranties as far as I can throw them. I am not saying aftermarket items are bad or poor quality. I am not saying that at all. I have seen instances where aftermarket items are better the the OEM counterparts, but many of the companies are fly-by-night joints and are not going to be around long enough to have to worry about say a 5 year warranty. How many of those commercials do you see and TV that claim to have a lifetime warranty, but yet 6 months later you can't even find the company or they have folded. A lot of good that warranty does for you, huh. We (Classic Auto Group) just can't take that risk. If I carry just one aftermarket accessory and sell 100 units(and that is low sales) and those units turn out to be faulty and break 3 months later and the company I purchased them from folds; I have to pay for all of them. That just costs to much money and we won't get involoved in that. If anyone has some specific accessories they want to see go on sale or parts for that matter, let me know. You can post here or email me. I have been checking the board latey and will keep an eye on this post.

Thank you

Brian Flick-Classic Mini

What I want to see on sale:
JCW cat-back exhaust system (only, portion of full Works package for those that want to upgrade incrementally)

BTW, does anyone have a picture of this system off the car and not installed? Something more than the one found here?

The R84 V-spokes are SCCA legal 16X6.5

I bought mine from Classic MINI. They were a lot cheaper than my local dealer would have charged me. I also purchased my CD changer from them. Very good service and the best pricing I have seen in the U.S. on official MINI parts and accessories.

I'd buy another MINI mug if I could (without trolling around on e-bay).

A kit with parts and drawings to install the auxillary power plug in the back of an '03, as was included in the back of the '02 MINIs.

There's a plastic cap there, where the power plug should have been included on the '03 model as well... I haven't looked to see if there happens to be a wire already pulled in, or if that would have to be added too.

It's not a kit, but you can add your own toggle to run whatever you want by looking here:Extra switch installation
